It is a religious building of the 13th century along
the Serchio valley. Particularly imposing is the bell-tower
and the remains of a Medieval pulpit

It is one of the most interesting examples of Romanesque
art in Lucca, it houses a wealth of fine works by the "Comacini
masters as the baptismal font and the splendid 13th century
pulpit
Pieve di S. Gennaro
Very suggestive church which houses intact one of the
few signed pulpits of the 12th century and an earthenware
statue attributed to Leonardo da Vinci
Pieve di S.Maria del Giudice
The striking limestone extracted from the mountains of
Pisa exult the purity and beauty of this Romanesque church
making it one of the most beautiful in the plains of
Lucca
