The town that was the birthplace of the
Renaissance genius - Leonardo in 1452, extends around the
Count Guidi castle among the green olive groves of Monte
Albano.

-Vinciano museum, the museum is located in the Count Guidi
castle. It is only when we look
at the vast collection of models and mechanical devices
inspired by the designs of Leonardo that we can fully understand
and appreciate the genius of this great artist (admission

-Anchiano, situated at 2 kilometres from Vinci and easily
reachable on footis said to be Leonardo's home
